Biography:
Sam comes to us from Houston, Texas. He plans to graduate in 2013 from Point Loma University. We are looking forward to having Sam on the team this year!
Prior to PLNU
Spent two seasons playing for Coach Rocky Manuel and the Cardinals... was selected as a second-team all-district performer as a junior and moved up to first-team status as a senior... best game went 3-for-4 with five RBI...fondly remembers beating #1 team is the state twice during senior campaign.

Born March 2, 1991 in Houston, TX... son to Mark and Kala... two brothers: Sean and Danny... relative, John, played baseball at Rice... enjoys fishing, hunting and Mexican food... fan of the Astros, George Straight, the TV show Two and a Half Men, the movie Boondock Saints... favorite book is the Bible... came to PLNU for the baseball and the location... undeclared major.

Most embarrassing and most proud moment: Proud moment - people telling me how special my speech was at my great grandmother's funeral. My cousin read it for me because I couldn't come home for California to Texas. I will be proud when I get to go back and read it myself. And due to the immense size of my sense of humor it's very hard to embarass me |
