Biography:
Tyler comes to us from Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois and is majoring in Physical and Elementary Education.  He plans to graduate in 2012 and resides in Elgin, Illinois.  Our assistant coach this year, Garrett Shivley, currently coaches Tyler at Olivet.  We are excited to have him on the team.  He was All-Area and All-Conference in high school in 2008.  In 2009 he was NCCAA North Central Region Relief Pitcher of the Year.

Freshman Year (2009): Appeared on the mound in 17 games...finished with a 1-1 record and 3.29 ERA in 41.0 IP...recorded two saves...gave up 43 hits, 18 runs, and 15 earned runs...had nine BBs and 24 SOs...opponent's batting average was .279 against...pitched in the NCCAA World Series
 Prepped at Larkin High School, selected All-Conference and All-Area in 2008.

Why do you want to play baseball in Niagara Falls?:  It is a great opportunity to impact the lives of others doing the thing I love, plus it beats sitting on my couch all summer eating Lucky Charms.

David, because he went through so many ups and downs and yet God continued to use him.  Plus, playing the harp would be pretty sweet.
