Biography:
Ben is coming to us from Kentucky Wesleyan College and is majoring in Accounting. He resides in Elgin, Illinois. He formerly attended Olney Central College and will be playing his first spring season with Kentucky this year. In high school he was MVP and All-Conference for three years. His senior year he was All-Conference MVP and Southern Illinois All-Star. In College he has been Academic All-Conference and on the Region 24 All Tournament Team.

Biggest Thing That Has Surprised You About College: The amount of studying time required and the amount of pizza a person can put down in a semester!!!
What do you hope to do after college?: Play professional baseball or work for a pro baseball team
Why do you want to play baseball in Niagara Falls?: I feel like this will be a great opportunity for me to grow as a Christian and a baseball player. Also, I've never been to Niagara Falls so it will be nice to see a new part of the country.

Do you have any non sports related talents? (ie singing, playing guitar, etc): I'm a decent juggler and I haven't tested this theory yet, but I'm pretty sure I would be an amazing competitive eater!

Messy or OCD?: I'd like to say I'm a tidy person, but since my parents will read this and know otherwise, I guess I'll admit I'm a little bit messy.
If you could step inside a Bible character's life for a day who would it be and why? Paul, he was an excellent leader and held on to his strong faith in the Lord in tough times.
How many minutes a day do you spend texting?: Probably 45 minutes to an hour
When did you start playing baseball?: I've played organized baseball since I was 5, but I fell in love with the game as soon as I was big enough to swing a bat.
Favorite Baseball Memory: Helping my high school team to the best record in school history my senior year, being named conference MVP, and getting a college baseball scholarship.
Ideal Vacation: On the beach where I can just relax

If you had to eat only one food for an entire month what would it be?: Steak
Most embarrassing and most proud moment: I hit a game winning grand slam in high school and went to jump on the plate, which was wet, and busted my butt in front of everyone! |
